6th hill of 7 on a 31km circuit from Llandegla, continuing from Eglysywyg mountain following track for the most part then veering off to explore the High points with both alt points visited. Last one seems to be an Orienteering record point as it has a stake and flag at the exact point. Continuation to Esvlusham mountain...Dazingdale28/04/2023
From ridge to NE. Boggy heather moorland with cut patches for grouse and an occasional bit of track. Level ,featureless, heather /bog summit. Grey day. Returned to car via paved Offa's Dyke way onto tracks of Llandegla Forest.Denise 19/03/2023
Featureless summit of grass and cut heather. Level. Indistinct high point. Typical patch work hillsides of Grouse moor. Ominously grey overcast skies. Nice views SW.RichardM19/03/2023

Circuit from World's end to Frozen Clock - Cefn y Cist on return via Mountain Lodge - with HSJohnIvor26/09/2019
Parked on left verge just past the top edge of forest. fairly straight-forward to start of e/w footpath. Very hard going on crutches as path is mostly a deep narrow trench. Slightly easier going (for me) dropping south to marked summit.GordonAdshead24/08/2019
Parked to the north of World's End, where the road leaves the forest and by the cattle grid. Took a track to Pt.470, from where an atv track went all the way to the summit of Eglwyseg Mountain. We then ascended Cefn y Cyst and Esclusham Mountain on atv tracks and rough heather and bilberry moor when the atv tracks ran out. A road walk took us back to the car. With JT.Sprog25/05/2019
As Aye Jimmy. Parked on wide verge at N. end of wood at 232484 - Up tracks for about 175m to start of RoW - Turned left & up RoW to high point - S. over heather, much of it recently burned, to unmarked summit. (S)gerrybowes07/02/2019

From N edge of wood at SJ 2324.4843. Up to large track, along this for short way then narrow track leads off leftwards. Followed this to top then heathery trod to summit. Some heather cropping has been done. Continued to Eglwyseg Mountain, rough going in places if you miss the tracks.Aye Jimmy30/01/2018
Aint life grand. A day like today to visit a top like this. Good path almost all the way if you keep your eyes open. Remarkably dry too for what I'd describe as North Berwyn terrain. 8th top of the day completes Wrexham county.stig_nest11/05/2017
Up from RoW to south, then down & on to Eglwyseg Mountain.ngthack21/02/2017
Moel Garegog, Esclusham Mountain, Cefn y Cistkeithouk05/02/2017
Cyrn y Brain, Foel, Eglwyseg Mountain, Cefn y Cist. Clear but infrequently used vehicle track almost to path crossing south of summit. Took path uphill to junction then short descent along northern path to visible track over hear her. Track goes well east of summit but reduced heather bashing. Went north again to find RoW down to West. Path clear mostly but lost and found it again twice. Path to south of summit likely to be clearer.ijpowell16/09/2016
