After yesterdays long walk and 6 tops. Slept in car, very cold. Only this one today before driving home. Home by 11am.Dusty01/12/2023
From Esgair Fawr parked at 81576 22355 just before the river. Up the track and then used the bulldozed track rather than reentering the forest. This becomes a faint path but no problem. Then left up open hillside which was not too bad albeit more or less pathless. My last Welsh s5.clivevilla04/04/2023

From Esgair Gawr. Mosquito engine still there. Decent track up to padlocked gate. At this point things got very squelchy. Its a reasonable path but after the recent rain was more like a river. Upon reaching open ground it becomes obvious that a better route would avoid the upper forestry section along a new bulldozed track and following the perimeter up to the gate. Open hill was of course very wet. Theres no benefit heading for the col, there seems only sheeptrods to easy your way. Summit is a grassy rocky clump near to a very old wooden fence. Only the posts remain. A tough little blighter for now view, low cloud. On a clear day it wouldnt disapoint.stig_nest06/09/2016
