First day of last go at the Birketts. Light showers. Found a way up and down Castle Rock through head-high bracken. Then a pleasant walk up Castle Crag and The Benn. Joyce took the low road back to Castlerigg campsite while I walked back over 3 boggy and pathless Synges: Bleaberry Fell SE Top, Dodd Crag and Pike. Good views.BURGESS02/07/2023

A lovely outlook over the Keswick area. As others have noted there is a difficult wall to cross between it and Bleaberry Fell.Alan Moore14/10/2020
Parked in Keswick. Lovely quiet fell ground boggy in places. We sat for a while on our descent being ignored by 3 fell ponies who proceeded to pester us to the gate in the corner on leaving. After Walla Crag, Bleaberry Fell, High Seat, Bleaberry Fell SE Top continued onto Pike with Nick.Jacqdaw18/09/2020
With Jacqui down from Bleaberry SE Top. Limited paths following line of fence but uneven ground and boggy in places. Wall to climb to avoid big detour. This fell is a flat grassy top and looks much better from a distance. On to Pike Synge, pestered by annoying fell ponies - probably excited to have seen someone, as doubt many people apart from Synge baggers pass this wayHillsidenick18/09/2020
from Walla Crag across pathless, boggy ground and heather. Slightly awkward wall to cross both before top and on route to Bleaberry Fell. KeithByTheC19/01/2020

A short afternoon round of 4 hills previously bypassed, this the last. From Bleaberry Fell SE Top and a steep descent to Shoulthwaite Farm over dead bracken (would be a pain in summer on this route). Then tracks and minor road back to car at Thirlmere Dam.jonglew05/01/2018
From Bleaberry Fell SE top via main summit. Skiddaw and Blencathra looking fine in late afternoon sun/shadows. On to Pike.Wycombe Wanderer12/11/2017

4th of 5 summits today on a circular from the Craglands guesthouse, visiting Castlehead, Walla Crag and Bleaberry fell, descending down fenceline towards Dodd. Climbed stone wall and fence before heading on a bearing to the undistinguished summit. Nice crags though. Scrambled down for a few metres before heading for intersection of fences at Ny289211.Dazingdale05/06/2016

From Armboth via High Seat, Bleaberry Fell SE Top, Bleaberry Fell. Followed the fence down Bleaberry Fell. Awkward wall to climb. Grassy humps on an impressive crag. Mist. Camped overnight on Bleaberry fell SE Top.mick03/10/2015
Limited parking at Rakefoot (alt 803ft). A straightforward walk of about 45 minutes. Follow the Walla Crag path until it turns westwards then pick up a smaller track continuing south. When the wall at the other side of the river shows suitable gaps, cross over and head for the acute bend in the wall. When meeting it, follow a path to the summit. Do this first if you intend to include Pike as it saves doubling back and enables an accidental shortcut directly back to Rakefoot along the private track.moorsman02/10/2015
Parked near the dam, up the road to Armboth car park, Fisher Crag, Armboth Fell (Birkett), Armboth Fell, High Tove, High Seat, Bleaberry Fell SE Top, Bleaberry Fell, Dodd Crag, Pike, back via A591 and cut through Shoulthwaite Farm to car park.Chipstertrain14/06/2015
