Fine scramble from third pinnaclealda24/05/2018
Unexpected big bonus... My highest and most tricky remaining Skye tump. I mistakenly lost the path high up in the corrie on Nan Gillean tourist route to SE ridge. Found myself heading right and directly ahead at top of scree slope beyond a band of snow was the elusive Knights peak. I'd not realised it was potentially accessible from this side. I thought, 'I can get up to the base of that from here and am sure it's scrambleable from the col between it and the third pinnacle. And so I did. Yabbadabbadoo. Euphoria.vegibagger02/05/2018
Done with the help of guide Jamie who led the way up Pinnacle Ridge for Nick P & I. Down-climbed from the top and then up to the fine summit of Gillean. Great way up onto this peak.signyred05/08/2013

Did this as a Munro top before it was demoted. Solo via Pinnacle ridge and continuing over Sgurr nan Gillean. Slight cock-up on abseil, got to bottom and realised I had left rucksac at top! Rigged up a prusik on the rope and used this for protection on climb back up to get it. Just one awkward bit on descent to bealach, may have been off route, used a sling to give me some protection.dickscroop26/08/2010
From Sligachan Hotel, With Robin Howie and Rhona Fraser. We climbed up to the gap between the first and second pinnacles of Pinnacle Ridge, Sgùrr nan Gillian, from the west side and scrambled up the second and third pinnacles. To avoid the abseil off the third pinnacle we went back the way we had come and skirted round the east side to the gap between the third pinnacle and Knight's Peak. We climbed up to the summit of Knight's Peak and down to the col with Sgùrr nan Gillian and on to the summit of Sgùrr nan Gillian. Grade 3 scramble. We returned to Sligachan using the Tourist Route. Good weather.pwbellarby20/06/2010

On Barnardos Outward Bound course. via Pinnacle Ridge, no helmets, but roped. We were told that if we dislodged any more rocks we would turn back. I was last man on rope of 6!langskill04/07/1969
Nerve-wracking unprotected scramble with 2 others to gain a new munro top which was subsequently demoted. To add to the excitement we started up the wrong gully (2nd instead of 3rd) but couldn't get back down so it was even more exposed. Perfect weather and dry rock helped the cause.AndrewFinnimoreblank
