Easter walk. Parked in East Meon, explored the churchyard then mostly along paths and a little 'bit of road' to a steep ascent through woods. Back to the car via Frogmore.Buck02/04/2021
4 hour, 5 Tump circuit from the car park in East Meon. Middle Down, Henwood Down, Wether Down, Barrow Hill, Pidham Hill.PGCE18/12/2020
Last of 4 from E.Meon (see Pidham Hill for full route). Used repaired track used by trail riders- fortunately none today- to get to base on NW side but walked round top of fields (good margin) to S side before ascending via burners in wood, gamekeeper's? path almost buried in vegetation. This hill has an excellent view E along the S.Downs. I descended its straightforward E ridge to a gate- very visible from the farm though; a second gate at 703223 gave access S alongside a hedge to the RoW- fp then track and v.quiet lane to Frogmore and delightfully through E.Meon to car park. No signs about trespassing, probably because it would be thought that no one would bother with this rather awkward hillpwheeler24/05/2020
pleasant walk, mainly along paths from pretty East Meon (Village Hall carpark). Steep pathless ascent through woods to grassy summit with fine views on sunny breezy day.Denise 06/08/2019

From row to south. Stuble field and easy squeeze through wire fence to summit cow pasture, with the young cows obligingly running away. Next to East Meon and it delightful thatched cottages and wonderful millennium village tapestry in the church. With L & Betty the dog (who stayed on ROW and not up to summit) on 6 hr circular walk from Clanfield.Chris Pearson08/10/2016
