With Izzy and Margo. We decided to quickly do this one before a great tea at the Horse & Farrier in Threlkeld (highly recommended). An absolute doddle from the Youth Centre and back the same way. Brilliant views in every direction but especially of Blencathra in the evening light. My penultimate Central Fell. Margo's 50th Wainwright. A great day all round.James McKnight20/06/2024

The first day of my Wainwright Challenge linking all 214 Wainwrights in one walk taking 38 days to mark my 70th Birthday. Today from Keswick Moot Hall to Legburthwaite, traversing Dodd, Latrigg, and High Rigg. With Josh. An okay morning, before the rain set in with gales over High Rigg in the afternoon. 26km with 1500m ascent taking 8 hours.Alan_70+10/04/2024

7th visit. On a solo 555 linear bus walk/ jog from Swirls car park to Keswick on a beautiful sunny autumnal day. Down to shorts here as the warmth of weak mid day sun just about beat the chill of the NE breeze. Great side lighting and shadow off all the Lakeland hills on this magnificent calm sunny autumnal day with blue sky. Low Rigg next then Keswick for lunch stop with local friend Martin looking after his 3 year old today.Chris Pearson21/11/2023
