With Carol - Park on verge just north of Water Park, near High Nibthwaite. Use track from High Nibthwaite village to the top of Top o’ Selside (1099’) (and second top). Good views of Lake Coniston, and Coniston Range, to the west. Reverse the last ascent and then head to High Light Haw (867’), Low Light Haw (810’) and Brock Barrow (748’). From summit pillar, head east and pick up path to Caws Beck, returning to High Nibthwaite. Hot (27 degrees) and breezy. A great clockwise walk. Navigation, using paths and sheep tracks, generally straightforward. | DABT | 05/09/2023 |

From High Nigh Nibthwaite: Top O' Selside (Wainwright top); Top o' Selside (true summit);Heel Toe Hill; Arnsbarrow Hill; Arnsbarrow Hill South Top/Stang Moss; High Light Haw; Low Light Haw and Brockbarrow. Clear September day with high winds. | Lazylizzie | 12/09/2020 |
ACW circuit from road 200 yards N of High Nibthwaite. Head-high bracken, brambles and gorse blocked Wainwright’s route up Buck Barrow, so I followed the path by the wall E and cut up slopes of bracken and scree to the true summit and WO summit at the square cairn. Thereafter, a hugely enjoyable walk through a miniature upland of rock and heather tops: Low Light Haw, High Light Haw, Arnsbarrow S and N, Heel Toe Hill and the true and WO summits of Top O’Selside, returning by the green lane. | Nick Down1 | 09/09/2020 |

Would have been a bit easier from Nimby Nibthwaite but no sniff of any parking there and they probably want to keep it that way. Drove on to NT car park at Dodgson Wood then followed permissive path marked by white arrows towards derelict Parkamoor before cutting uphill across open pasture to the uncairned summit. | Topographer57 | 05/07/2019 |

Circuit from Crab Haws car park | Ajm0310 | 11/09/2018 |
An insanely busy Coniston water today. Seriously suprised by the volume of people and the embarrasingly poor parking in the actual carpark. Marilyn summit feels lower to me than the cairned proper top. Not sure i buy in to the pedantry of an odd meter. Youd not know if not for the gps. Still, keep putting your blind faith in science.. | stig_nest | 28/05/2018 |
