Solo. From car park at Invermark. Along broad stalkers' track past Auchronie with a deviation to the summit cairn of Hill of Saughs. Left broad track on southern slopes of Hill of Gairny, following a track initially and then across the heather to the summit. Back more or less same way. A beautiful sunny day.pwbellarby08/08/2022
From Glen Tanar parking (NO479965), by cycle over river then along E side to track junction at NO464939, then walked SW along tracks to NE shoulder of Gathering Cairn, contoured round the E side of that to the col with Braid Cairn, then directly up to the summit (passing remains of a crashed plane), descended E, picking up a foottrack to Hill of Gairney, then on to Cock Cairn, descended SE at first, then NE to join main track N then W (over Little Cockcairn) down to Water of Gairney (forded easily, today) and up to the outward track, and return to bike and parking (6h45m from parking, 6h15m from track junction)kdbennett15/06/2022
