From Invereshie NR cp up good path all way to summit, on to Sgor an Dubh Mor and down over Geal-charn and down to pass at 670m via a couple of bouldery slopes.	Flatfield	01/09/2024
Solo round of Sgir Gaoith and it's top tops. Parked at Nature Reserve carp park, walked along road to Achlean, and then followed good path up the side of Coire Fhearnagan to the high point of the path (marked by cairn). Took intermittent path around to the top Meall Dubhag, then returned back to main path (cairn). Took another path N to next top Carn Ban Mhor, then headed for Sgorr Gaoith summit. From the summit continued N to Sgoran Dubh Mor, then countoured around to top Meall Bhuidhe. NW to final top Geal Charn, then dropped down over boulders and heather down to good path beside Allt Coire na Cloiche back down to car park. Low cloud above 900m. Total time 5h 31min	mproudfoot	21/07/2024
From CP 1km N of Auchlean. S on track, shoes off for crossing Allt Fhearnagan and Allt Garbhlach. Track E and easy path to Meall nan Sleac. Track to Mullach Clach a Bhlair and down to Druim nam Bo. To Diollaid Coire Eindart contouring below Munro slightly. N to cross Caochan Dubh at confluence to track just E of .957. OK, a few small hags and slight bog. Track and path to Tom Dubh. Track to Mullach Clach a Bhlair N Top. Path and easy ground to Meall Dubhag. Easy ground and path to Carn Ban Mor. Path to Sgor Gaoith. Back over Carn Ban Mor and easy down to CBM West Top. Rougher to Carn Ban Beag. Weird slidy moss. 1km due S to good track over slidy moss then longer grass, heather. No ticks. Easy path back to CP. 41.5km, 1500m climb 9:50 including stops. OMC Meet at Milehouse, Kincraig With Andy Moffat, James Priestley and Ali Shaw, started at Achlean car park. Followed good path up to Carn Ban Mor, then north to Sgor Gaoith. Descended into Coire Gorm a' Chrom-alltain, then out along the path to the lower Glen Feshie carpark. Snow started above 700m some deep area, which I struggled with, really hard going. Parked N of Balachroick, taking path E and then up NNE to beallach below Creag Mhigeachaidh. Climbed Creag Mhigeachaidh, return to beallach and then Geal-charn, Meall Buidhe, and steady climb to Sgoran Dubh Mor. Pleasant high level traverse to Sgor Gaoith, with excellent views. Then Carn Ban Mor, Tom Dubh and out and back to Carn na Criche. Then Meall Dubhag, a slightly misjudged traverse to reach Carn Ban Mor West Top, Carn Ban Beag, descent to track running below W side of Creag Ghiuthsachan and return to start. Hot dry conditons. 12.5 mile circular from Achlean up normal path over Carn Ban Mor and onto Sgor Gaoiths great summit, continued along ridge to Sgoran Dubh Mhor all on easy paths, we saw the showers coming and decided to descend over Meall Buidhe and Geal-Charn (easy rocky terrain), the descent off Geal-Charn started bouldery but turned into steep heather, then followed little path back into forest and along road to start. High cloud and showery weather, great views from top but cloud stayed on the Braeriach mass most of the day, passed 4 people all day.	DanTrig	16/06/2019

Parked at 853 013 and followed the forestry track which became a footpath to 876 000 where I struck up the West slope of Meall Tionail to its summit cairn. I then continued in the same direction to Meall Buidhe (MT) before continuing on to Sgoran Dubh Mor, the second Munro Top. It was a bit hazy here though still views to be had. Took the path South to Sgor Gaoith which was also a bit cloudy. On the opposite side of Loch Einich there appeared to be a large landslide, possibly the heavy rain from a couple of weeks back. I then descended in a Northwesterly direction back to Meall Buidhe and then continued along the ridge to the final Munro Top of Geal Charn, from here I descended over heather in a southwesterly direction back to the path and then out to the car. A long relentless walk over a very dry summit plateau. A landrover was parked at 957m top Moine Mhor never saw any signs of occupants or gunfire that would indicate grouse shoot or deer stalking. With Shaky & Smithy from beautiful Glen Feshie. Walked past Auchlean & joined the bulldozed track for a quick but uninteresting ascent of Mullach Clach a'Bhlair. Mist hanging around the summit. Continued over its N top, Carn Ban Mor to Sgor Gaoith. Mist had cleared to reveal the great view although it drifted back in again by the time we had continued to Sgoran Dubh Mor. Completed the tops by visiting Meall Buidhe & Geal-charn dropping SW to join a path leading back to the glen, a little to N of our starting point.	NotReallyABagger	28/05/2001

Solo. From the road in Glen Feshie at NH853013. Followed the path through the forest. Once through the forest struck up the hillside to reach the summit of Geal-charn. I continued to Meall Buidhe, Sgòran Dubh Mòr, Sgor Gaoith and Carn Bàn Mòr. Had lunch and continued to Tom Dubh, Monadh Mòr before returning over Meall Dubhag. I'm not on my own in thinking this is the finest summit view in the Cairngorms, high above crag girt Loch Einich. Pete and I set out from Achlean, over Mullach Clach a'Bhlair (qv). After admiring the precipice at our feet, and massive views (eg Ben Lawers) in the clear air, we continued along the ridge, giving way to pleasant high mossy moorland, over to Meall Buidhe. Even here we admired the wildness of the place, as here the pine forest is being allowed to find its natural treeline. Down on a stalkers' track by Allt Ruadh.With brother, Pete.	pwheeler	22/05/1994
