| With friend. From point where road to Kinloch Hourn leaves Loch Quoich. Walked round Loch Quaich on something of a path, at one stage being on an old road. At the Abhainn Chòsaidh we joined the stalker’s path going up the glen. We left the path where it leaves the main glen to go up a subsidiary glen towards Glen Barrisdale. Further up the main glen we climbed up the mountainside between rocky buffs to reach the second subsidiary top to the east of Sgurr a’ Choire-bheithe. We reached the summit of Sgurr a’ Choire-bheithe. It was a very warm day. My friend went on over Slat Bheinn and joined the path from Glen Barrisdale for the return. I returned by traversing the complete ridge of Druim Chòsaidh including Sgurr Airigh na Beinne before rejoining the outward route. | pwbellarby | 20/06/1998 |
