Misty no view apart from along connecting ridge. Solopigerg12/07/2024
Second attempt of Ridge (done the first 4 Munros but abandoned the rest due to bad weather). Started at 7am at the Glen Shiel battle site car park. Originally was going to hide the bike, but there was little traffic so decided to leave the car and bike to the Clunie, which worked out totally correct later on. The day started sunny and a cool breeze, and had little problems until Munro 3 when it started to rain and by Munro 5 it was thick cloud and rain. Cloud soon lifted and I could see the route again. Descent from Munro 7 was by the North East ridge, which was horrible. Top part was scree zig zags, middle was steep rock outcrops and the last section was lost path and forest. Great day and views when the clouds lifted. Great sight to see my car and not my bike at the end. 10hr 48min total time.Jhimmy09/07/2024
