Room for a couple of cars at the road high point to the W at the 406 spot height. Followed the ROW around Stanky Hill and an atv track from the eastern side cross tracks directly to the trig. Limited views with an impending rain shower rapidly closing in. Windy. Solo.richard6904/06/2024

Parked by the derelict house by the phonebox at Dutlas (may not be derelict for much longer as being done up). Up bridleway opposite, steep climb onto open access land, then lovely walk on Green grassy tracks to summit. Off path to Fron Barn, below Fron rocks, past Penlan, along minor road then back up B Road to car. 7 miles nice walk. Final Welsh marilyn had prosecco and chocolate orange to celebrate on summit.JulieB04/01/2024

Room for two cars at 15278 76502 then immediately accessed the footpath opposite. We went up Black Mountain then Beacon Hill and Fron Rocks before visiting Pool Hill including a detour to visit the source of the river Lugg and then finally Stanky Hill. Steep pull up then lovely path through bracken and heather all the way to the summit trig. 600th Marilyn summit and our third today. Fantastic 360 views in glorious sunshine. A perfect sunny day in excellent company (Steve and Alex). Parked at Ty'n-y-Rhos, bridleway to Rhydhir, then direct to Pool Hill (friendly farmer). Beacon Hill, Stanky Hill, Cefn Pawl, then down to Llanrhys. Short road bash then Warren Hill and Gors Lydan.
