Second attempt of Ridge (done the first 4 Munros but abandoned the rest due to bad weather). Started at 7am at the Glen Shiel battle site car park. Originally was going to hide the bike, but there was little traffic so decided to leave the car and bike to the Clunie, which worked out totally correct later on. The day started sunny and a cool breeze, and had little problems until Munro 3 when it started to rain and by Munro 5 it was thick cloud and rain. Cloud soon lifted and I could see the route again. Descent from Munro 7 was by the North East ridge, which was horrible. Top part was scree zig zags, middle was steep rock outcrops and the last section was lost path and forest. Great day and views when the clouds lifted. Great sight to see my car and not my bike at the end. 10hr 48min total time. | Jhimmy | 09/07/2024 |

Camped at Cluanie and did the ridge from Creag a Mhaim but continued to Sgurr na Sgine (ascending straight up the face) and dropped down to Glen Shiel via Faochaog. Had left bike at the road, but still tried to hitch. Gave up and cycled back to Cluanie as midges were biting. | jigglybones | 29/05/2019 |
Headed in from Glen Sheil - good snow from about 650m. Min wind. I/M clear. Ascended North Ridge. Initially this is straight-forward. Then there is a section of 20m (steep arete and awkward step) which is pretty consequential - we roped up here. The summitted, west to Maol Chinn-dearg, then descended Drium Coire nan Eirecheanach - good winter mountaineering day | wychwood | 05/03/2019 |
