2 of 5: From Orddu. With Karen. | ChrisR | 21/06/2024 |
Glorious sunshine, very wet underfoot on the path from Pandy. Bagged Orddu and Foel Goch, say not a soul all day. Great views all round, even in the haze | Cumbriancyclist | 02/06/2024 |
I parked by the phone box in Llangwm and took the minor road to the fork leading to Cwm-llan. Here i walked through a couple of sheep paddocks to pick up the footpath to the col and then a footpath to Foel Goch. Great views over to Bala and the Arenigs. After dropping back to the col I quickly wandered up Orddu before returning by way of my ascent. Saw a hen harrier. | Peterb | 08/05/2024 |
Very cold in the wind. Views somewhat muted by a leaden sky today. Up from the Bala side today. The path from the bwlch between here and y orddu was very wet lower down.

From small parking spot near Pandy farm, Orddu and Foel Goch. Glorious autumn day with high winds at summit. First Nuttall after lung surgery, felt a struggle. | Lazylizzie | 22/10/2022 |
With: solo; Ascent from road at Pandy. Followed the Nuttall route but I had no problems with the Nuttalls apparently disappearing path. The one I followed all the way to the summit had clearly been there many decades. | Ian Baines | 08/10/2022 |
First time back in the mountains for a while, decided to complete this short walk up Foel Goch with Jess. Nice and easy walk with great views from the top of the lakes, Snowdonia, Arans, Berwyns. | Buckleymon | 05/07/2022 |
From the farm at the end of the western little road in the valley. Anti clockwise circuit to tump tops. This the second after first top to the east I gently contoured round to. | vegibagger | 09/06/2022 |

Taken as part of a 6 mile run from Bala Caravan and Camping Club Clubsite at Sarnau Route Pen Coed-y-Bedo, BrynBras, Orddu, Pen-y-cerrig-searth back to Orddu then Foel Goch - a run down the old drovers way to the Farm at Pentre-tai-yn-y-cwm a lovely chat with the farmer Mr Owen about the history of this ancient village (a very interesting bloke!) and a mild rebuke for running up BryBras which is not allowed, apparently, which is a shame because there is an excellent and almost dry path all the way to the top! | Shutterlag | 19/09/2017 |
9 mile walk from junction of minor roads south by Pandy farm, followed minor road then field footpath onto Pen Coed-Y-Bedo, then headed along grassy ridge to Bryn Bras, contoured round to Pen Y Cerrig-Serth then headed west onto Orddu and grassy trails onto Foel Goch, carried on along ridge to Garreg Fawr then across barbed wire fences onto Pen Y Bwlch Gwyn and up to conical Moel Emoel back down lane by Nant Cefn-Coch back to car, very showery and a lot of cloud on the bigger mountains surrounding, easy terrain under foot but quite wet. Drove to and bagged Craig Rhiwarth later on way home. | DanTrig | 19/08/2017 |
