Parked at the hause opposite Martindale church. Took the road to Garth Heads and the sloping path up to High Dodd, a snow slushy Place Fell, Round How, Chapel in the Hause, Beda Fell/Head before dropping to the road ahead of the Nickles. Cloud base around 500m so brief views on the first and last tops and the hause in the middle. Very wet both from above and underfoot. Breezy. With Gillian.richard6930/12/2023

Ascent from Patterdale. Sunshine, any cloud over all fells. Excellent views. Very clear. Could see clearly for miles. Descent to Ullswater and then back along lakeside to Patterdale..markm11/10/2022
The walk from Patterdale was via Side Farm, right up to Boredale Hause, north to Round How where we had our picnic. North onto the top of Place Fell and then north east to Hart Crag. We saw red deer here. Left of High Dodd and High Knott (near Sandwick) and then to Ullswater. Travelled west along Ullswater Way all the way back to Patterdale. The whole walk was incredible! One of the best! Superb clear views and interest the whole time. Warm!jking10/10/2022
Big walk today. Caught the ferry over to Howtown over Ullswater, that's why the map looks dodgey. Bagged Hallin Fell, Steel Knotts, Beda Fell, The Nab & Place Fell (132/214 Wainrights) with John Herbertgeorge_herbert_21/09/2022
With Isabel & Olivia from Patterdale via Boredale Hause.
