7th and final hill of 7 on a 31km circuit from LLamdegla continuing from Cefn y Cist. Sometimes on an old track, othertimes immature heather and often switching to a better line but clambered up quite steeply to the top where the cairn is still intact. This hill completes Wrexham u/a. A short walk to the road and then up to the Offas Dyke path through Llandegla forest and down to Pen y Stryt and back to the start. | Dazingdale | 28/04/2024 |
Deep dusk from high point of road to west | vegibagger | 25/03/2024 |
Did the trig, then returned to the road to wait for the grouse shoot to go home so I could do the summit. | PeteN | 05/09/2023 |
Approach from slightly lower trig to N. Small cairn in heather moorland with grey views. From trig to N mainly on track then boggy heather. Continue south on ridge to Cefn Y Ciste on hard- going, pathless heather-bog. | Denise | 19/03/2023 |
Good track most of the way from the trig pillar. Heather moorland summit with small cairn at high point. Heather/Bilberry/Moss. | RichardM | 19/03/2023 |

Parked to the NNW at right-angled bend SJ252501. Along track South East for about 150 yards then South across heather. | David Evans | 22/12/2019 |
Parked near the bend to the west. Terrible fly tipping. The Welsh seem to be very good at it. Met the gamekeeper and had a pleasant conversation about fly tipping and tics. Up quad track and the 200 mts across to heather to good viewpoint. | Campbell Singer | 27/10/2019 |
Parked to the north of World's End, where the road leaves the forest and by the cattle grid. Took a track to Pt.470, from where an atv track went all the way to the summit of Eglwyseg Mountain. We then ascended Cefn y Cyst and Esclusham Mountain on atv tracks and rough heather and bilberry moor when the atv tracks ran out. A road walk took us back to the car. With JT. | Sprog | 25/05/2019 |
As Aye Jimmy. Enough space to park considerately in large passing place on bend at 252501 - Along track for about 350m & then SSW over heather to summit cairn. (S) | gerrybowes | 07/02/2019 |

From bend in road to NNW. Very muddy churned-up track to shoulder of hill, then a section of heather SSW with water-filled potholes to cairn. | Aye Jimmy | 26/01/2018 |
Fairly straightforward direct from Worlds End road. If not for this road this place would be miles from anywhere. Feels everybit as remote too. Snall cairn. Lovely day.. 1 to go in Wxm | stig_nest | 11/05/2017 |

Glyndyfrdwy to Coedpoeth. Final hill of the day. A very wet walk to OD from Cyrn-y-Brain then along the road. Visited the top and the trig point, the grass around it being a comfier place to halt. Interesting views of the English-Welsh border, England being predominantly flat and Wales being markedly hilly! | Jake994 | 08/04/2016 |
Could just park at 252501. Sunken track to ridge: Heather on ridge not too deep. | GordonAdshead | 09/10/2015 |
