Beginning anti clockwise with Garneddwen, diverting to hit Cadair Brownwen, finnishing with Godor.
Approached by curious farmer as descending through his fields, as I was 30 foot off the public footpath. Friendly and pointed me to where I should of been and then authorised me to continue on course, April is a stressful time of year for our farmers so understandbale. | Alfa1M | 28/04/2024 |

Walk 7.2 | KatyT | 09/05/2023 |
12.1 mile circular from the old chapel at Pentre in the Ceiriog Valley. Just about space for one car there. We followed the valley road then took the path up to Pentre Pant farm. Just before the farm we forded the stream into access land and climbed up a track which double backs on itself, then follows the fenceline steeply up to Foel Goch. From here it is a easy but pathless walk across the moors to the deleted top Rhos. We then followed the easy trail over Mynydd Tarw, Foel Wen South Top, Foel Wen, Tomle and took the contouring path around to Cadair Bronwen (first bagged in 2007) following the boggy path north to the memorial and up to Pen Bwlch Llandrillo, back to the memorial, then the Bwlch Llandrillo track and road back to the car at Pentre. Surprisingly an easy walk considering no one has ascended this way before! Glorious warm weather with wide views of the whole of North Wales. As it was Easter Saturday we must have seen about 10 people today. Amazingly busy for the Berwyns! | DanTrig | 08/04/2023 |

This is probably the best circular walk to be had in the Berwyns completing the 10 peaks on this hike.

Parked in a small lay-by that could fit two cars by the stream on the minor road before the telephone box, its a 180 degree bend that you struggle to make the turn.

I used the post code SY10 0DE to get to the start of the walk and this gets you into the correct location in the valley and very close to the start.

Walk up to the phone box, take the lane up behind it, go through Maes farmyard and up to the bend in the road. The public right of way up to the left across the fields is clearly waymarked. Good views away towards minor hills on the left.
From here its very straight forward to follow the route, we went right before the climb up onto the ridge to Cadiar Bronwen which had great views from the top.
You have to retrace your footsteps up onto Cadair Berwyn and then onto Moel Sych. Then back again and cut across the front of Cadair Berwyn onto Moel Yr Ewig / Godor. From h | Buckleymon | 07/03/2022 |

this is a boggy walk so my advise is do it in the hight of winter or summer as you will get wet | Darren-443 | 10/02/2017 |
Solo walk. Start/finish in Tyn-y-Ffridd. Climbed Mynydd Tarw, Foel Wen, Tomle, Cadair Berwyn (both tops), Moel Sych, Moel yr Ewig and Godor ... basically Nuttall route minus Cadair Bronwen. 5 hours. Weather horrendous at times ... squally showers, gales, cold, but sunny spells in afternoon. A good walk; few paths and boggy in places but the escarpment of the main ridge is impressive, especially view of Llyn Lluncaws. Cadair Berwyn is really a forgotten mountain of Wales, despite its height ... saw nobody all day! | jamessteel100 | 22/12/2016 |
Solo walk during a weekend trip to Llangollen for a friend's Birthday. Tyn-y-ffridd - Godor - along Nuttalls to Cadair Berwyn - north as far as Moel yr Henfaes - back to Cadair Bronwen - over Tomle ridge - back to Tyn-y-ffridd. Amazing weather with a cloud inversion. | AGWilliamson | 17/12/2016 |
With Minnie, from small parking area by bridge 119 307, along road-Cwm Maen Gwynedd, up slope to Tomle col, up onto Craig Berwyn great cloud inversion & warm sunshine above cloud, back down into cloud over Tomle, Foel Wen 'tops', Mynydd Tarw & Rhos. Down to track & road to car. | apricorum | 30/10/2016 |
Continuing from Tomle, boggy in places, views not as good as elsewhere in the area. | muzza2 | 25/09/2016 |
