The world's quickest Munro. Up in 26 1/2 minutes. I know Munros so I know I'm never beating that total.craiging61927/07/2024

Left the house at about 07:00 and got up to Glenshee Ski Centre just after 09:00. Started the climb up Carn Aosda at about 09:30. When I reached the summit beside the ski lift I overshot the summit cairn as the visibility was so bad and there was a reasonable amount of snow. After wandering around the summit for a while I eventually found the cairn (to the left hand side of the ski lift) at about 10:30. Had I been able to see the cairn I would have reached it at about 10:15, after about 45 mins of climbing. I then started making my way back down to head across to Carn a Gheoidh. Passing by a fully frozen Loch Vrotachan I headed across to the summit however the visibility due to low cloud cover and harsh cold winds were causing me some navigational issues. There were a couple of people in front of me in the distance but they very quickly disappeared into the gloom. Although I made it past a couple of small lochins just before Carn Nah Sac I decided the safest thing to do was retraRonh09/03/2024

Fourth visit to this despoiled summit, not quite as ugly as The Cairnwell. TGO Challenge 2023Colin Crawford22/05/2023
Superb sunny evening ascent after An Socach. ATV track most of the way up from valley below An Socach. Contoured north of lake Vrotachan -mainly pathless-but probably should have kept on south side. Alone, but met Gordon’s back in Glenshee carpark after descent on grassy ski run and gravel track.Denise 19/04/2023
Parked at the ski centre (£3 in the cafe or online with a printer). Up service track to Carn Aosda and Cairnwell, then out and back to Carn a Gheoidh and Carn Bhinnein. Heavy snowfall previous day already starting to thaw but down to about 600m. Cloud base improved during the day but limited views. With Gillian.richard6915/04/2023

Jan's first ever Munro outing. From Glenshee out to Carn a Gheoidh then return to The Cairnwell and down and up to Carn Aosda. Long stops (by my standards) but walking was only marginally below Naismith - glorious day and she smashed it.SS24/07/2021
