Logged Descriptions  (logged by 25 users)ByDate of Ascent
10 mile run from Aberthin via Hensol … FP from ST054748 goes close enough to the natural top … waved my watch about to ensure logged by Summit Bag … back to lane on FP through Lillypot front garden … glorious sunny daymilejunkie05/02/2023
Had visited a couple of years ago and been sent packing by an angry resident so revisited at dusk on a Sunday. Went to GR given (05912 74892) which is just outside the reservoir fence and possibly in someone's garden. Also hopped over the fence and walked about on grassy reservoir top.clivevilla23/09/2018

Parked at Crossways. RoW to N of woods, past the noisy 7-leg dogs! Then up to covered resr. Hopped over the low fencing and took an internal circuit around. HP possibly on E side or at NW corner.jonglew20/12/2016
Parked at the start of the lane to Lillypot House then followed footpath to farm yard area then off piste between house and chalet to bag high point in reservoir compound.Dugswell220/10/2016
Locked gate to reservoir on private land.Asked to keep to RoW by owner and not return to his land.Pip5628/02/2016
Second attempt after meeting goml to the north.Adrian24/08/2013
Plenty of parking on nearby road. Noisy poodle at guest house. Footpath gate past house isn't obvious (feels private) but you can take the right-hand one of three driveways instead. Easy hop over low gate into reservoir compound.wheresthepath29/03/2013
Parked easily on the road SW bar some white large gates. Then walked 100m NW to the track and then a path all the way. Stroll.destaylor07/03/2013
Parked motorhome in pub car park on main road and cycled to Lillypot which is a huge house / barn complex. Visited top by fence & the top of the covered reservoir before zooming off downhill again. Still haven\'t visited Tair Onnen trig!signyred05/05/2012
Approached from SW up tack to Lillypot Guest House then turned left and hopped over gate into the compound. My GPS gave me 134m on natural ground and 137m on top but may be not accurateFather Ted31/12/2011
