After an outing on Beinn na Seamraig and Ben Aslak. Descended north back to the road on what must be some of the worst ground on Skye!Matt290106/01/2024

From parking 200m rough track to mast (turning possible there). Continued to Beinn na Seamraig and Beinn AslakMinto29/05/2023
From Ben Aslak and descended to Bealach Udal. A satisfying circuit and better anti-clockwise so the spongiest sections are on descent. Provided a relatively easy day as got a touch of metatarsalgia. 2.5 hours.Wycombe Wanderer25/05/2023
From Bealach Ulan after Choinnich and Caillich. Followed mast track then found faint path through thick grass to near summit; would have been hard work otherwise. Cairn on rib. Onto Ben Aslak where terrain got easier. Solo.Denise 25/05/2023

Start and finished at the RSPB carpark/hide. Straight up the non-pathed SE flank of Beinn Bhuide, the terrain getting easier as altitude was gained. Into Bealach nam Mulachag, where rucksacks were jettisoned in favour of an encumbrance free assault on Beinn na Caillich. Steep and scrambley to start with, but eventually rounded out into a fine peak with even finer aspect along Loch's Alsh and Long. A persistent wind forced us quickly back to bags and a bealach bite before the easier ascent of Sgurr na Coinnich. We continued SSW to Bealach Udal, thankfully finding a narrow path on the lower contours as the matted vegetation and regular hidden holes dented knees and footsure confidence. The opposite side of the glen proved similarly challenging, although a reasonable path to Beinn Bheag from the radio mast track helped hugely. The crossing to Ben Aslak offered no such assistance, nor did the steady incline down its broad eastern ridge, until deer tracks were located about a kilometre shy summitter20/03/2022

fa, 2 in party, heavy rain, mist, and windy, 4.5km, from the beach dual, straight up past the radio mast to beinn bheags summit, no view, steeply to col and up past a lochan to another near the summit, out to the top Ben Aslak in driving rain, visiting several small rises, some with cairns, returned down to the col and cut across the hillside back to the car in abysmal weatherrum doodle 18/02/2017
