From the layby on the main road near the Waternish turn off, through deep heather. Fairly hard going until higher up. Nice little summit around the trig. Brilliant viewsMatt290114/08/2020
From layby on main road to Dunvegan, on the way to Beinn Chreagach. Fairly short climb, but hard work through long grass and heather.the pigguy 18/05/2018
Parked Fairy Bridge, oh what a slog through long grass and deep heather. Saw some red throated divers in lochan on way. A bonus. Company: Soloiandesbottes16/05/2018
Considering the tiring slog the previous evening along the 2km of the ridge to Ben Geary at the northern end of the Waternish peninsula, it was pretty staggering that the terrain was so much more benign on the ridge walk here. Most puzzling and relieving as I wandered happily in the sunsine south to Beinn CVhreagach and on further to the subsidiary southern TuMP summit of Beinn na Boineide with trig pillar S9410. Once back on the road tried my luck at hitching back to car and got picked up by young woman called Ellie or maybe Eilidh who was back to visit parents who lived on the peninsula. She lived in Edinburgh.vegibagger31/05/2017
