Abysmal visibility but a whole lot of fun. Tourist route from A835 cp up An Cabar and on th Ben Wyvis. Out & back on bearing and path to An t Socach. On to Tom a Choinnich again on bearing and path. WSW bearing off summit through mossy grass and into short heather. Didn't drop to Allt a Gharbh Bhaid but stayed higher but not quite on ridge. Picked up sketchy atv and deer tracks. At fence corner 437688 there was an atv track proper that led us WSW, S then W to forest track. Then forest track to meet up tourist path and back to carpark. 18.6km 1060m ascent 5.5hrsLynnebe02/07/2024

Parked in the car park for Ben Wyvis nature park and followed the usual route up past the first top An Cabar to the true summit Glas Leathad Mor before continuing on to the Northern tops of Glas Leathad Beag and Tom a'Choinnich. Returning due West over Carn Gorm and descending to a track by Loch Bealach Culaidh and following this back to the car. Sixteen and half mile in Eight hours.WAYNE ROWLETT30/03/2024
Parking at nature reserve car park NH411672 (fills quickly, no overspill allowed as the road has clearway signs). Std route on engineered path, relentlessly up An Cabar. Extensive damage now to upland mossy habitat, but many people ignored the signs asking them to keep to a central line so as to allow rehabilitationIsbjorn17/10/2023

From CP at 410671, up path to An Cabar, Ben Wyvis and Tom a' Choinnich. Descended via WSW shoulder and Allt a' Gharbh Bhaid, then forestry track.welshyboyo26/05/2023
Parked at the signed free BW car park and followed excellent path up An Cabar and the ridge to BW. Continued to shoulder of Tom a Choinnich before heading off E on broad ridge to Glas Leathad Beag main and W Top. Returned over ToC and descended down pathless W ridge to Cnoc na Bana-mhorair and into the mapped treeless forest rides before picking up proper forest tracks back to the car park. Excellent day, cold, windy but largely clear. With Gillianrichard6921/04/2023
After Ben Wyvis. Alone. Superb ridge path. Cold wind but very clear and sunny. Descended SW on excellent if steep path to free Garbat carpark, where met Richard later.Denise 20/04/2023

Myself and Alma climbed from the Ben Wyvis car park. The forecast was very wrong so we had cloud from 600m and rain in it from 900m. The wind on the ridge was also well above forecast, but we made the main summit successfully.meltdiceburg17/07/2021
