From SSE, parked at small water facility. A few small cliffs to avoid. N summit visited too, seemed 1-2m lower, in mist. Last of the day, a quick P80 at dusk. | RHW | 18/05/2023 |
Return visit to record summit GR, also trying out new boots. Bus to road end for Barnacarry. Route up and down as in April 2016. Dull, short sunny intervals, fresh breeze. View murky, Mull just visible. Then tried approach to Meall Ailein from north-east, but defeated by recently-renewed BWF, hard to avoid or to cross without injury, so made for Kilninver and early bus to Oban. | mainnirnamfiadh | 01/08/2020 |
Dusky hop up from the road to the SE with fresh waxing crescent moon watching down and this morning's Marilyn Beinn Mhor, from 12 hours ago, resting in the gloaming | vegibagger | 18/05/2018 |

After Beinn Mhòr. From cattle grid near start of Barnacarry approach road by LRT (metalled at first, then fainter) almost directly to the top. Fine views of Ardentallen and Loch Feochan. A pleasant walk at the end of a sunny afternoon. Back down the same way, to get the bus to Oban. | mainnirnamfiadh | 19/04/2016 |
