Up the path from the bridge.robertphillips25/02/2024
Up the path from the bridge. Lovely walk on a dry but rocky path. Good view of a sunlit Mull on what elsewhere was a destructively stormy day.fasgadh20/10/2023

Easy waymarked path from the bridge. A couple of outcrops vying for high pointColin Crawford10/05/2022
8th and final hill of the day on a circuit from Crinan, approached from South over fence and pasture then over another fence to scramble upto a path that I then followed to the top. Followed waymarked routes back onto road leading to where I had parked near the harbour. Tiring but satisfying day only leaving one route to complete the Sween catchment.Dazingdale27/05/2021

Bus along A816 to road end for Cairnbaan. Crinan Canal towpath to Crinan Bridge about 793937 and across to end of B841, where large “WOODLAND WALK” sign, then a short distance south-westwards to start of path. A bit rougher than a “walk” – there is a short section early on with a rope handrail – but it goes right to the top. Warm and sunny, with extensive views to east, north, and west. Down initially southwards, then bending westwards, on continuation of path as far as “private” road. Waymarkers advise turning left, but turned right as far as entrance to private house, then through gate on left with broken sign “CR” and “NAN”, leading to quite adventurous path round hill (nice viewpoint en route) and down to first lock on canal east of Crinan Basin. Bus to Lochgilphead, then to Oban.mainnirnamfiadh19/09/2017
