Parked at the triangle above the distillery. Up track towards & through forest to find gate in deer fence. Giur-bheinn, Giur-bheinn NE Top & Margadale Hill in a 4 hour walk. Still recovering from Long Covid.Dugswell216/05/2024
8th and penultimate top on a 9 hill round from parking near Bunnahabhain. Fairly short climb from Creagan Corr. Continuation to Giur-bheinn...Dazingdale07/05/2024
Drove dirt road ~1km past Bunnahabhain Distillery to park just short of covered reservoir (NR 4093 7341). A round of 6 hills, Margadale Hill, the two Creagan Corr's, Sgarbh Dubh and Giur-bheinn first before coming across to here. Returned to car along breaks and forest roads for a 14.7km round.jonglew13/05/2022
Came over from the main summit. Gate in fence to ENE of hill leads to forest track back to Bunnahabhain. Solo.Dangerous Dave01/04/2022
Across the footbridge and along the grass track that makes the ascent of Sgarbh Breac a doddle, then SW across tussocky grass and minor peat hags to Margadale Hill. A pretty direct line to the south shore of Loch Smigeadail, then contoured around to reach the southern slope of Sgarbh Dubh, up which it is easily climbed. We doubled back to bag the two featureless summits of Creagan Corr before heading over to Giur-bheinn's NE top and for more majestic main summit. Once round Loch Guir-bheinn Deana spied a large gate along the forestry fence line, which once duly climbed through/over gave a grassy/sphagnum descent to a stone track leading back to Bunnahabhain. 5hrs.summitter14/05/2021

Marhof meet. Solo. From bend in road just before Bunnahabhain Distillery. West on tracks to forest. Using rather old map which had different layout of tracks and no forest! Went up a ride with rough ground and lots of insects. Through gate and climbed to summit of Giùr-bheinn NE Top, partly to check exactly where I was. Had been on Jura earlier in the day so late in the day and not enough time to go on to Giùr-bheinn itself as originally intended.pwbellarby12/06/2012
From distillery, track west to forest. Right branch past ruin and to end. Any no. of rides led to gate in deer fence and hillside. Over two ridges and lochan to summit. Met lionel and Susan en route. On over NE top to Sgarbh Breac w Jenx, 1hr transit contour ring at 180m - tops en route.nordicstar11/06/2012
