A clockwise round of 7 new Tumps from Sanaigmore; starting S down the road to Kindrochid farm, where the track was used to access this hill. With RichardM.Minto12/05/2024
9th and final tump on a circuit from Sanaigmore climbing from An Carnan and getting a bit delayed by the dykes running into the gorse with fences adding to the problem so i back tracked and skirted fence where it backed onto pasture and it was easier to jump over the dyke and then a straightforward ascent to the top. Pleasantly mundane after all the rocky excitement however my route gor stuck near Kindrochid as there were fences everywhere and a dog was defending the territory but i found a gate that led to another that allowed me to access the track that led down to the main road leading back to Sanaigmore. Was accosted by Eric the farmer on the way out who wanted to know why i was on the crags. He doesnt like walkers on the crags but there have been incidents with people stealing Eagle eggs so one might understand his suspicious nature if nothing else.Dazingdale08/05/2024
