A heathery ascent from the B8085 to the substantial summit cairn. Excellent views, despite its modest height.Nick Down119/04/2019
After Carn Airigh Shomhairle, quite a tough walk in deep summer vegetation, the low lying terrain very spongy and draining. Fine summit thoughColin Crawford27/07/2018
5th tump of 8 on a 30.3km Oronsay and Colonsay completion walk from the Backpackers lodge near Kiloran House, climbing Dun Gallain, Carn Spiris, crossing over with 2ft of water to climb Beinn Oronsay and back again with a few inches to cross back and heading for Beinn Eibhne, progress made easier by the heather having been burnt. Dropped down SE to a lovley bay then headed on a track past Balleriminmore before heading direct for the top. I recorded top as NR 37416 92008, recording 82m. Continuation NE then North over pretty rough ground heading over anotther unnamed knoll for Carn Airighe Shomhairle....Dazingdale10/05/2018
