5 of 5: From Hill of Cumrie. Failed to find any fire break. Had to bulldoze up through dense trees. Took a long time. From the top we went south and found a break down to the track. Then all the way round the north of the hill back to The Bin CP off the A96. With Karen.ChrisR22/02/2022

Walked from near Crofts of Dykeside along forestry road then up older road. Then up through trees to trig pillar.187lenny23/04/2020
Here for the trigpoint. TP:UK log: Epic one! Planned to do 3 trigs tonight, the last 300m of this put pay to that! Tried to keep out of the trees until I had to but still had to face 200m of holey, brambled and thistle filled hillside. Once I ventured into the trees I got very entangled as they are densely packed. Eventually ended up in some softer pines who gave some relief and you could hold onto them too and avoid a few holes! Eventually came out to a clearing which seemed on a high spot and there she was, sooooo glad to spot her at last! Feeling quite chuffed to have found a clearing I tried to follow it down the hill but ended up too far South? Ended up doing more downhill on the holey stuff than I needed and the last 80m I became entangled again this time in wind blown trees. Eventually back on the path. 1.4 hours round trip, last trig for me tonight! ;-)thejackrustles05/08/2015
