Followed track from New Pitsligo round to reservoir then up to trig187lenny28/01/2024
Up the field from the cemetery. The coos have kept a way open to the summit through the whins.sclater04/01/2023
Parked in New Pitsligo and followed track up hill. South and east sides have impenetrable gorse…best approach from the north near the small reservoir.govanah20/09/2022

Challenged by farm hand who phoned his boss to clear my visit which he did, as long as I did not upset the coos - all very friendly. Best to follow track from East off A950 and keep right at T-junction to continue on track NW then SW to reach gate at NJ876564. Easy access (no gorse) from NJ 87627 56307carole engel19/11/2019

Parked in a housing estate near a play park. Walked up to reservoir gate, only tied together with rope, so easy access. Sun really strong so took a beeline for the trig through the gorse, ouch! Found a much easier route out! Top, head right once through gate to avoid gorse.thejackrustles21/01/2017
