| Parked outside the last house at Couston, up the track towards Henderston then continued to Henderston Hill. The summit is now a morass of fallen conifers so I clambered over likely high points. A break afforded access onto the open ground to the north, where a reasonable path runs parallel to fence lines to Back Drum. Doubled back to north of Henderston and detoured to Hatton Hill using sheep tracks, grass tracks and open ground. Returned to car via a track to Davidston and then minor road to Couston. | summitter | 31/12/2022 |
