All the trees have been felled leaving a mess. There is a track from NS 34687 01466 going through NS 34823 01560 and wending its way to close to the top (NS 34595 01666)Alan Moore14/01/2022

6th Hill of 12 today on a tough route from North Balloch, climbing Daljedburgh Hill, Craiginmoddie @ 382m, Doughty Hill @ 380m, The Pilot @ 386m and Knockinculloch @ 356m, following forest ride to exit forest then heading NE onto track and where it veers off to circumnavigate the hill I took a route through the mature trees to explore the high points. I found two mossy clearings of a similar height and spent a good 20 minutes circling through the trees and the ground is of a similar height for quite an area. Descent SE bypassing the fallen trees on the ride to head ENE to the edge of the forest, heading for Fore Fell or Glenalla Fell.Dazingdale10/05/2017
