Path from rt angled bend to beyond where I should have left it. Overshooting like this saps energy over rough ground but forgave myself when views to Arran, Kintyre and Northern Ireland opened up.lordtonult29/05/2022

P right-angled junction to ESE, trail marked to Dunure Hill. Easy enough; the bump that looks like the top is the top by my measurements.agentmancuso05/05/2018
No 361 bus from Ayr to Dunure then up good track through forest heading for Maybole. Then rough km across moor with cows to summit with cows. Hazy so views not great. On to Drumshang.Thearlaichdubh03/12/2017
5th hill of 6 today having climbed Kirkland Hill as an out and back from Achensoul, then I left car back in Ayr and walked from there via Heads of Ayr, Brown Carrick Hill and Drumshang exiting the forest onto open moor, continuing SW to climb the knoll North of the given summit but highest reading is for oblong shaped summit knoll as given. Continued past previous spot height and then profiled around the attractive knolls West of Red Moss Loch. Great views of Ailsa Craig from here. Next Hill: MochrumDazingdale13/05/2017

P at right angle bend. Followed (indistinct in places) path to Dunure. Across moor to north and south bumps then back to W E fence back to path. Eventually followed the edge of the forest inside the fence to DH summit in a small clearing.chrisbien19/08/2014
Parked sharp bend to S.E. Followed marked, muddy path with gorse. Left track after crossing Burn; steeply at first, then easier gradient. Visited Top and 282m spot height. Top seems higher. The Captainblank
