Yes, best done on a Sunday. Trig Pt needs a face lift.Play2End08/04/2024
As others from the quarry early Sunday morning all quiteAndrew Simmons26/11/2023
Parked roadside to NE of quarry access road. Up that road then sharp left into woods and steeply up. High point approx 15m due S of the trig pillar, overlooking the quarry.jonglew03/11/2023
Sunday - very easy up the ramp in pleasant woodland. Lots of strawberry plants.fasgadh05/03/2023
Gate open but no activity at quarry. A diagonal track, if you can find it, leads up through the wood to the trig.sclater04/10/2021
Sunny day. Went on weekend through Branscroft field. Top just near trig point.colazione30/05/2021
Parked in Wheatlands Farm Road. Into field avoiding busy quarry entrance and onto steep slope in wood, a ramp hindered by fallen trees and another steep slope to top. View down into quarry. 20 minutes up and down.Campbell Singer13/05/2021
From asphalt quarry entrance.bjewing20/01/2021
Biked to quarry entrance from home. Walked in across field by side of track them up unpleasantly steep and loose slope in woods to summit.Grinner28/06/2020
Felt awkward climbing gate in full view of houses in Barnscroft as quarry gate shut. Trig in interesting location.lordtonult10/05/2020
Local walk bike and hike from my house, barnbrock hill, law hill, barr hill.robertphillips25/04/2020
Because it's Sunday the quarry entrance gate was closed, locked and unclimbable, so I entered via the adjacent field.summitter02/02/2020
6th and final tump of the day, having climbed Queen's Park in Glasgow, then Hurlet Hill and Byrne Hill on a linear from Nitshill to Paisley Gilmour Street and Broadhead Hill and Kenmure Hill on two loops from Howwood station. I took the train to Milliken Park and ascended through Kilbarchan and its lovely park but climbed over wall too soon to scramble up loose shale slope to gain a ridge overlooking the quarry, followed this up and down and crossed over for the summit area, with nice bluebells. Nice tump to end the day, descending through the levels to cross the field to a gate and then onto New road for my airbnb accommodation in Kilbarchan.Dazingdale26/05/2018
From Milliken Park railway station. Follow the cycle route signs and ascend through the delightful historical village of Kilbarchan up New St to the quarry entrance. Avoid the sight line of the weighbridge by heading left and up. 200m of prickly vegetation takes you to the trig pint and high point. Return the same way.Thearlaichdubh06/10/2017
P Barnscroft. Hill is on 3 levels. 1 field, 2 access from just before the quarry, then ramp heading N takes you onto level 3. Top 20m S of trig.chrisbien28/11/2016
Quarry entrance up road.robertphillips29/05/2015
Assumed summit in trees to NE of quarry entrance (by trig) rather than in trees to SW.campagvelocet07/10/2011
Bike run around a few trigsARM04/04/2010
Quarry is still very active, so to avoid any unwanted discussions, go left just past phone mast on quarry driveway, along old track to stone hut, then up steep slopes.agentmancuso25/01/2007
