Logged Descriptions  (logged by 21 users)ByDate of Ascent
Along road from south of Tweedhopefoot, met one of the forestry staff who appeared a bit surprised to see me. The hill has been clear felled so at the moment there is an easy ride up from just north of a quarry. This will soon get choked with Sitka though, but for now it's a treat. Lovely grassy bald.fasgadh04/09/2024
Approached along fences from Craigmaid. Gate at 063.184 to get over bwf. Descent along fence to 061.185 then contoured in new broadleaf planting to reach the end of the track.Moorponder16/06/2024

From large layby at Tweedhopefoot (NT 0525 1776). Tweedhopefoot Rig, Onweather Hill and Craigmaid first. From there over Bught Shank to here. Return more straight forward than expected by finding an excellent old unmapped break through clear fell starting NT 0622 1825 which run down WSW nicely to meet the logging road. A pleasant 7 mile round albeit over some tricky ground in places.jonglew03/12/2021
Parked at the reservoir car park for a circuit of 4 Tumps. Over dam then along track before heading left over stream, fence and gate into summit field. ATV track to Glengonnor Hill.
