2nd hill of 5 today on a route from the Victoria Hotel in Atherton (suburb of Bradford) to Halifax station, climbing Harrop Edge and then a lengthy walk borrowing the Bronte way before taking a track directly up past the 'sleeping' diggers and up past the vast excavated basin (in preparation for landfill I expect) to get to the highest point, one of a series of grassed over mounds on the Eastern side of the fp that runs through the centre. Strangely there is a stone circle made from slate slabs in the field to the Sw. I continued onwards to Swales Moor.Dazingdale05/02/2017
