820m wander round the estate. Met the guy from no. 97 who was putting out the bins and who agreed this was the highest point. Another bag to add to my slate.malcorbett09/06/2021
Parked on Shelfield Lane and walked to high point of pavement outside No.99. Left it at that in these covid times. Distant snow covered moorland views at each end of the LaneRichardM11/04/2021

Think it's a good idea to be satisfied with the road outside 97/99.I knocked on the door of 99 and the guy there said, 'I know what you're here for' before I'd been able to ask him the question. He said a woman had been round just a few weeks before and it wasn't convenient as he was busy.vegibagger08/01/2018
As the top is supposed to be in the garden of no.99 Shelfield Lane, I asked permission to visit and the friendly owner agreed. Apparently I am the first in the 30 years he has lived there. Securely fenced off, so permission would be neededcarole engel27/12/2017
1st of 7 hills today on a route from Rochdale to Littleborough Starting via golf course fp and then i got to the crux outside 97&99. I checked the back garden of 97 but 99 higher so knocked on their door and asked permission to visit their garden which i believed to be the summit. The owners were curious & confused but granted my wish. I Continued onwards to Gandy Brow.Dazingdale08/01/2017

Tram to Bury, bus to Jericho then walked Birtle Hill, Deeply Hill, Windy Hill and Bagslate Moor. Bus to Rochdale and tram back to Manchester. Nice views between the houses up here!Jake99413/01/2015
Highest point seemed to me to be gate at top of No 93 driveway. Could be slightly higher in back garden.RHW02/11/2014
Shelfield Lane either 97 or 99. Thankfully a window clearer left a ladder beside a lamp post so that I could make sure my head was well above this TuMP summit.Dugswell210/07/2014
On Shelfield Lane, somewhere outside Nos. 97-99 I'd say.Aye Jimmy14/06/2014
