Holme Wood Hill and Nicky Nook from Grizedale Bridge.summitter24/11/2022
After supply teaching in Lancaster encouraging GCSE pupils to get to grips with algebra and the outdated confusing language of Dickens with Scrooge in a Christmas Carol. Year 9 much more enjoying Boys Dont Cry about a modern teenage pregnancy with real language and swear words! Breezy walk /jog to clear my mind over 3 tumps from the fell road which skirts the sweeping Bowland Fells and looking out west to moody clouds and low shafts of silvery sunlight over distant Blackpool with its famous Tower silhouetted.Chris Pearson14/10/2022
From Grizedale Bridge, ROW initially then up to top. On to Nicky Nook.PeterD12/05/2022

Excellent parking in a small carpark due east of the summit. Here a path starts heading directly towards a gated wall. This takes the path into the summit field which is fence and obstruction free.moorsman08/03/2019
