A walk up the road to the trig from the Gloucestershire Way | PhilipChaston | 19/04/2022 |
On way down South to Sussex | GordonAdshead | 13/08/2021 |
A detour from the Gloucestershire Way on a changeable May day. As the third highest hill in Gloucestershire, this is not very exciting. Approaching from the north after a detour to see a round barrow, Cleeve Hill masts can be seen from the summit. Once at the trig, the views west are blocked by trees and although the views eastwards back towards Stow are decent, there's little drama in the scene as the slopes are too shallow. From here I headed off downhill alongside the gallops in steadily increasing rain, torrential by the time I reached the shelter of the phonebox at Ford. | thesweetcheat | 01/05/2021 |

My wife thinks I'm nuts. Drove past tis trig point and then reversed back . Got out bagged the point. Took a couple of photos and returned to the car. | Anthony Vosper | 28/04/2017 |
Summit is alongside the horseracing facilities run by top trainer Jonjo O'Neil. His top of the range facilities include an equine swimming pool and 3 solariums that are powered by special infrared bulb heaters. These provide a pleasant warming effect that can improve circulation and help to relax tense muscles' - sadly all for horses. | Chris Pearson | 17/02/2017 |
Part of our circular ramble from Hailes Abbey via Upper Coscombe and T. Guiting. Easy stroll through racehorse training facility at Jackdaw's Castle to roadside trig. | sooztops | 20/10/2016 |
I thought there was possibly higher ground in the field to the west but don't suppose anyone's going to rush back to check. | Herbert Anchovy | 09/05/2016 |
