| An hour' s high intensity interval session (HITT) over Meldon and Nattadon. 20 secs max effort, 40 secs recovery and repeat. (If you do it properly you won't want to do it again - a good Joe Wicks quote). Flook found it all very easy despite having already had a high intensity session jumping into the river for sticks. | 2nd ascent. Again with Flook the Pointer, but this time running my own Two Hills Race to see what it is like. STEEP. Lovely ascent by the ' waterfall route' as it is known locally, from bend in the road. Fast descent to cricket pavilion in only 9 mins from summit. | With Lesley and Flook the dog. Sweated steeply up fp from Chagford . This route is one of the two ' devilishly steep climbs' on the annual Two Hills race , the other being Meldon Hill.
