Got my Aldi and Lidl mixed up and climbed the wrong hill!! Both supermarkets are only 400m apart on the NW tip of identical looking traffic light junctions with similar new build housing estates (not on my map) rising up S to a low pasture summit. Much ongoing landscaping work - so I didn't expect too much to match the map, but the summit hedges of my 91m hill seemed all wrong and didn't seem to match my map or previous logged comments. Started having further doubts when it seemed like the main road was too close and was surprised how well the huge new South Devon College was totally hidden from view! I was doing this on the fly in drizzly rain at 6.50am on the way to a supply teaching day in Torquay. No time do the proper summit. All in the finest tradition of the Ascent of Rum Doodle - where they too climbed the wrong peak!Chris Pearson15/03/2024
Solo. Barriers down on school access road so got as close as I could from the North. Fidget17/08/2023
HP apparently corner of grassy field by two high hedges. Accessed from an internal road ( not CCTV- monitored carpark) in South Devon College with many students leaving and no comments made.Denise 04/04/2019
Attacked this one through building site. Pile of earth is still there.Ramblingpaul06/11/2016
From NW. Summit in meadow s side of hedge. Big heap of soil to NE higher but man made and probably temporary.RHW09/07/2016
Parked in South Devon College car park - don't think this would work in term time. Up narrow track to side of a derelict bldg and followed path round to woods on opposite side of fence that rhw was at - different times of the day though. Could see the pile of soil and believe I was higher or at least as high in the woods.jonglew09/07/2016
