Pleasant stroll from Waitrose carpark (£2.20 refunded if you spend £15) with nice views in fading light. Also visited. point overlooking quarry of similar height | Denise | 16/11/2018 |
Path from Waitrose car park, summit open grassy area with nettles in scruffy wood land. Mince pie and coffee looking out into misty grey views. Top in wood just toSE may be as high. Steep face of limestone quarry/cutting has some hard looking bolted climbing routes. Spending £15 at Waitrose recovers the £2:20 car park fee though not convinced whether or not this is cost effective. | RichardM | 16/11/2018 |
