I walked between Rookley and Shorwell, taking in Rookley Hill, Berry Hill and the two Chillerton Down summits. The last stretch on Chillerton south was along the border of a cropped field but it was possible to walk the edge and cause no damageColin Crawford24/06/2024
One of those walks where you catch up a 'normal' walker up on the footpath - have a nice chat then get ahead, out of sight, then go off piste to bag something obscure as here around field edges, then re join the path and catch them up again further along the f'path to their surprise, wondering how on earth they had got past you.Chris Pearson09/06/2024
Waited at the bench (SZ 47240 82761), with a view of St Cathy's oratory, until the farmer finished fertilising his brassicas in a neighbouring field.Martin R15/10/2023
