As moorsman. Handy public footpath to access the back of 54 and 56.David Evans03/06/2019
Rather weird curious little sheep road leading Interesting little rather tatty ring of semis right on the top of this great little viewpoint and ringed by trees. Very odd little hill summit indeed. Wondered how permission was ever given for such a curiosity. Perhaps local authority Council Houses circa 1960'svegibagger06/01/2019
Visited both the front and rear of 54 and 56 Woodedge Avenue. The rear makes a better picture!!!moorsman08/05/2018
2/2 parked on grsvenor road did dalton fold first. Walked round from bottom on cranwood ave and up through snicket at back of houses then up steep hill in woods. Came out through gap in between 2 houses. Hp in front of no 56The-Z-Man31/01/2018

Hardly mountaineering, but more accessible than many urban TuMPs. Short climb through wooded area, visited pavement 'summit' and round back of houses to alternative top.RobertP16/07/2017

What's it all about?andrew brown02/03/2017
Parked on Round Wood Avenue to force Martin to walk uphill to bag this Tump. I prefer the woodland summit but also walked round to bag the man made pavement.Dugswell210/12/2016

I got a bit confused with Round Wood Avenue and Woodedge Avenue. I eventually parked in Woburn Drive and walked via a fp up to Woodedge Avenue. There is a gap between two houses and the hp is just a few mts north outside 56.Campbell Singer05/12/2016
Final top of Two today and completes Kirklees Co! Walked from Shepley station to Emley Moor and then continued on lane towards Kirkbuton, Burton Royd lane (amazing diffused view of Sun due to misty light) track North over Beldon Brook, fp through Lepton Great Wood, Sw onto B6433, N pn fp through open space then lanes and bridleway to reach A629. I took rd that arcs in between two becks and then road inyo cul-de-sac taking fp into wood. Took fp that arcs clockwise but headed straight up through brambles to emerge on Woodhedge avenue about 20 m from summit. Driveway on fp of no. 56 does appear to be the top and owner agreed. I had to wait for him to move his foot before i could officially reach the summit as he was unloading from his car! Descent through alleway but then checked out hp at back of the house and it doesnt appear to be higher. Descent to Wakefield road for bus into Huddersfield.Dazingdale26/11/2016
Back of footway outside 56. Ground slopes towards wood from there, but ftom AJ's point 35m to SW, ground seems to slope back towards gardens, so agree is unclear. Kirklees recompletedRHW25/09/2016
As others,visited both possible spots.catman25/09/2016
Outside number 56.Also took footpath round back to AJ point. Hand to tell.Bramley09/09/2016

Third in line to this one. Hard to say if in front or behind 56 Woodedge Ave.ngthack03/09/2016
As AJ. Just had to recomplete Kirklees and Doncaster for the third time: but did not see ngt either.GordonAdshead03/09/2016
High point either pavement in front of 56 Woodedge 'Avenue' (a circle at top!) or round the back. F/p starts 20m away, leads to top of wood behind houses, with slight grassy rise behind garage of house.Aye Jimmy02/09/2016
Slight detour after work! The high point is a little away from where it's currently shown on the map, in woodland behind the houses on Woodedge Road. Footpath runs across to here from Round Wood Avenuethe_adam02/09/2016
