From N, forest road to 300m NNE of the summit (wall end), path to col then up rough ridge. NW summit a couple of m lower. Nice sheltered route on a wet windy morningRHW05/04/2022
3rd and final hill of the day on the 1st day of my Jura hill-bagging plan, using soft soled shoes (as rucksack didn't make it off the Islay flight from Glasgow). Climbed Beinn na Doire Leithe and Cnoc Reamhar from the road as a loop then turned onto a forest track signed Sanaig forest. Left car near quarry (scary track-care essential) and proceeded on foot using forest track veering off to climb the tree-felled ridge (loads of foxgloves lower down) then a short woodland intrusion before reaching grassy high point with young bracken shoots around. My GPs recorded 59m @ Grid ref NR50870 63002 Descended across wall to explore views of the rocks, spotting a family of white goats before exploring waterfall on return route.Dazingdale02/06/2017
From end of forest track at NR510633 , trees felled and re-planted.chalky195318/03/2017
