Logged Descriptions  (logged by 11 users)ByDate of Ascent
3/3 from NW, Cloghanelly, layby, 4 gates, No Entry sign (I met a local, fishing bailiff? Aok), slippery partially submerged stepping stones, slopes initially boggy, not bad, and excellent high up, breezy, hazy sunshine.RHW02/05/2024
A good circuit of Aghla More, Aghla Beg South top and Aghla Beg via the track from the R251 leading to Loch Alltain, then steeply up to Aghla More, and onwards to the South top, and of course to Aghla Beg, because it's the most interesting of the 3. It's easy to contour round the south top, and then descend across the hillside to pick up the outwards route. After heavy rain, it's hard to cross the river except at the stepping stones by the folly.Gill16/09/2018
