First major walk without an 'adult'. With Jennifer, climbed Pavey Ark via Jack's Rake, then on to Thunacar Knott, turned North to High Raise and then back south to Sergent Man. Returned to the langdale pikes, skirting round Thunacar Knott to climb Harrison Stickle, on to Pike of Stickle, and descended over Loft Crag.AJScourfield31/07/2024

With L after a fun scramble up Stake Gill and up Langdale Coombe with its drumlins. Bits of scrambling up different steps up onto here - this iconic shapely peak is distinctive in so many views - but not today as the clag rolled in -abandoned our thoughts of a scramble up Harrison Stickle in the gloom. Is it really 32 years since I was last up here -on my BG ?Chris Pearson17/05/2024
