Parked in a layby at NN 7169 2333. Followed road W for about 50m before dropping to the river bank. 100m upstream, crossed old railway bridge and followed tracks to NN 7109 2095. Then diagonally up hillside.PGCE18/08/2024
Parked N of the hill near Tynreoch, clear of a gate, at NN7124 2359. SE along the road and in past a house with 'no access' signs and along to the forest track, following round to NN7068 2120. Straight on (E) at this point turning right higher up to follow the track south along the forest edge. Intermittent animal tracks from the track end to the summit, through short bracken, grass and short heather. Goats at the summit suggested it was their tracks! On return followed the 'St Fillans' sign and track under the road, and along to the gate at the car, avoiding the gates at the initial house.LizH21/07/2024

From Glen Artney on approach to Mor Bheinn. There are a lot of deer fences, some with broken stiles, the odd gate, some easy to cross, some you just walk around.sarahk28/05/2024
Round of Ben Halton and Tomanour Hill from road bend under Ross Wood. Animal tracks up through the bracken, heather and crags. Overcast with high cloud but dry and still.Topographer5729/01/2024
From Mor Bheinn following path to bealach. Up slopes keeping to east side of deer fence and then east top which has biggish cairn. Headed down west slopes to track which terminates at old slate quarry. Followed track south until it starts to turn east. Continued south through fields following atv tracks down to sheep fold and then farm track back to bridge over Waters of Ruchill and up track to School House on main road and back to starting point at bridge east of Glen Artney Church.Jossker03/06/2023
SMC route from Glen Artney church CP. First ATV track from wall corner not visible lower down; go well to W (L of bracken) and curve back E higher up.Galltywenallt26/04/2023
From Tynereoch using forest track around the west side of the Mor Bheinn to highest point of track. Then on trodden path, deer tracks and rough heather to Mor Bheinn summit. Descended to the south on a trodden path for part of the way but left path to continue to coll and then went up Ben Halton on a grassy rake (no heather bashing on this one). Returned back to the coll then round the west side of Mor Bheinn to rejoin the forest track for walk out. Great views from both hills.Fife Walking05/03/2023

Circuit from Tynreoch, following pwbellarby's route over Mor Bheinn North Top, Mor Bheinn and Ben Halton. The hottest day of the year so far: I propped myself against a boulder on the summit of Ben Halton and watched white cirrus clouds swirl mesmerically against a deep blue sky.Nick Down130/05/2020

Two Graham day, new light snow on high ground. Much of the way hard goingbertbarnett12322/01/2017
From Dalchruin in Glen Artney. Ben Halton and Mor Bheinn. A bit of a plod through the long grass at the start but good going on the track and pathless over the fairly rough ground of the two tops. No obvious line from the end of the track just pick what looks best, wade through more long grass and occasional bracken. On return the middle fence is a good guide to the line to contour Ben Halton.dickscroop01/08/2016

Solo from Tynreoch on loggers track to NN 70563 21718 after which a bit of a slog up side of the burn to 604m spot. The 2 Mor Bheinn peaks first then across here before dropping back to loggers track and return to Tynreoch. A fine last day out on the 2016 Trig Baggers Weekend.jonglew17/04/2016

Curcuit of the two Grahams and tops from Dalchruin w Jenx. 5hrs in a ckear bright day with biting north wind. New deer fences but apart from one climb all have stiles.nordicstar16/04/2016
Up from Dalchruin. Area plagued with deer fences. Presumably to keep the beggars off the newly planted trees.ngthack07/04/2016
Solo. Circular walk starting at NN739230 where it is possible to park at the start of a footpath along the trackbed of the former railway line, which is signposted to St Fillans and Kindrochet. Followed the signposted route to beyond Kindrocket where I turned SW on a track used by others to approach Mòr Bheinn. From this track ascended to summit of Mòr Bheinn North Top and then Mòr Bheinn. From the summit of Mòr Bheinn I went down to the col with Ben Halton where I climbed over a newish fence – not high and the only fence met so far. Continued to the summit of Ben Halton. Descended ESE and to the S of crags to meet track going past Tomanour. Stile over a deer fence and gate at another. Hence to minor road and starting point. Beautiful day, weatherwise.pwbellarby20/03/2016
