48km from Black Bridge, 12 hours, and I still didn't get up it. Got within 1km but left col at 8:20pm, strong cold wind, left summit for another day. Steep descent to bridge, long weary return, bike little help owing to fierce wind and dark, midnight back at car.alda18/04/2018
Overnight backpack from Black bridge taking in An Socach, Bodach Beag, Carn Ban and on return the TuMP of Cnoc na h-Iolare just off the track running along Loch Vaich. Some rain and mist so limited views of the surrounding mountains. Also visited the cairn to ESE and high ground to NW.RobertP03/07/2016
