Parking on bridge at NX903981 (no vehicles allowed to Burn). Through the policies of Burn onto track with white chicken ‘close gate’ signs to pheasantry. Start of ATV tk which makes a steep ascending TR L, is indistinct – goes all the way to the top | Isbjorn | 16/08/2024 |
From Kettleton Bridge, through Burns Farm and 3 fields to the start of the ascent passed the sheepfold following the obvious ditch, deviating off it as you get higher to reach the trig pillar. Then it is a trudge across tussocks to the spot height summit. Headed for the track again at Morton Park which was followed back to the car | Wayne Mac | 07/01/2024 |
Parked on the verge east of Burn farm for Bellybought hill - Little Fell - Auchenleck hill | Andrew Simmons | 13/02/2023 |
From verge parking just E of junction to Burn farm. Through farmyard and up marked track almost to the most amazing track end car park. Up to sheepfold, and path along old earth dyke. Trig point easily reached, bit of a tussocky bog-hop to the claimed high point, though it didn't feel so. | Minto | 14/02/2022 |
With Minto - see log. | NormanW | 14/02/2022 |
Parked roadside verge at Kettleton Bridge (NX 9036 9811). Through Burn Farm and across pastures to take ATV track at NX 9086 9894. Trig pillar firest then across to the HP. On to Little Fell -> Glenleith Fell -> Ashycleuch Hill -> East Morton Hill -> Morton Mains Hill. Testing 14k round given snow, wind and windchill. | jonglew | 13/02/2021 |
Parked with permission at Wood Cottage just up from Kettleton Bridge, track to Burn farm and through farm yard to gate onto track followed this and 2 pastures to open fell left up to sheepfold then atv track all the way to summit and /or trig. | Anton | 30/08/2020 |
Parked at the cemetery at Durisdeer. Followed the track through Glenaggart to N of the summit, then over rough ground to the summit area. Walked over to the trig point, which is lower than ground 60m to the NE. | LizH | 31/07/2020 |
parked at burn farm to the south, track then animal tracks to the top. | robertphillips | 26/11/2017 |
Biked up from Kettleton Byre to the highest point on the track to the west above Kettleton Res. Legged up argo track to within 500m of summit then bog and groughs. Agree with agentmancuso, the highest point about 200m NE trig (making current grid NS909000 too far N). | Eddie | 26/09/2017 |
Walked up from the SW through the farmyard and then across a couple of fields onto the open fell. Steep pull up to the top. | Walker Dan | 10/02/2016 |
From farm to S. Flat summit area | RobertP | 16/01/2016 |

Parked past first gat on track from Durisdeer along Glenaggart. Went to spot height but top could be anywhere in the vicinity. Went almost to the trig which is definitely lower. New bridges and vehicle track from 908999 to main track via Par Hill. | chrisbien | 02/05/2011 |
Came up from Durisdeer via Glenleith Fell. Summit a few hundred yards NE of trig. | agentmancuso | 17/05/2008 |
