Before the north top , Munro with Alan W. Foggy. | Denise | 29/05/2024 |
Thought I'd compleated the Munro Tops 20 years ago until studying my records carefully last year. I hadn't realised this top had been relocated from the one further South in 1984 and I'd walked right past it in 1986 and 2006. Conscience now clear! | sclater | 22/08/2023 |

From Invercauld car park. Done as part of a 2 day trip, camped by Quoich Water. Ascended up good path past Carn Fiaclach up to South Top, then around to North Top and Cnap a' Chleirich. Still some patches of snow in the corries. Descended to The Sneck and returned via Glean an t-Slugain. 38km. | PiranhaFish | 04/07/2022 |

The gentlest track in the highlands - though a long way in.
T - slept a bit - and got used to falling off her bike | Scmccabe | 08/07/2021 |
Solo bike and hike from Keiloch taking in Ben Avon and Beinn a'Bhuird - ride into Gleann an-Slugain starts well, but gets progressively rougher - the last half-mile before the ruins was a bit too rough >.< Did anti-clockwise route from there - using the excellent path all the way along to the route up to The Sneck and hit up Ben Avon first - nice wee light scramble up the summit tor. The pull up Beinn a'Bhuird from The Sneck was a bit of a gravelly slog, and the plateau above was not particularly interesting - much like the pile of stones marking the (North) Summit of Beinn a'Bhuird -the 8th highest mountain in the UK deserves better! Was glad to get back to the bike though I walked out the first half mile again, as it looks barely rideable. Total time 7h 5mins. | mproudfoot | 03/07/2021 |
Biked up Glen Quoich. Track re-routed from NO 1018 9208 (very steeply uphill) to NO 0873 9250 (very steeply down) - rough stony track for just over a mile. Too rough for me to bike, massive effort to push. Good surface next mile. Car park meter currently covered - free parking. | carole engel | 07/07/2020 |

Round of Beinn a'Bhuird & Ben Avon from Invercauld on a warm & sunny day solo. Followed the track along Gleann an t-Slugain past the ruin & then up S spur of Beinn a'Bhuird taking in a couple of tops for a fine summit view. E down over Cnap a'Chleirich to main summit of Ben Avon. Then S visiting other tors, Carn Eas & Creag an Dail Mhor before passing over Carn Eag Dubh to rejoin the outward route. Most of Ben Avon plateau was very easy going helped by the dry conditions. | NotReallyABagger | 05/09/2001 |
With: kdji; S Top largely clear of snow after deep snow on N Top. Several Snow Bunting amongst rocks. Visited old GR top then descended via Carn Fiaclach. Difficult crossing of Quoich Water deep in snowmelt required poles and crossing in group of 2 and 3. | Ian Baines | 29/04/2000 |
